Veterans Day in Poway
Poway VFW Post 7907 and the Poway Veterans Park Committee produced a Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 11 at Veterans Park to honor the men and women who served in the United States military. The solemn ceremony recognized several veterans from Poway who served this country, including some who died in action. The guest speaker was Reynaldo Baviera, SOC (SEAL) (Ret.), M.A. The event ended with Union Civil War reenactors firing a charge from a cannon in the corner of the park.
