All-Star Game showcases top players
The San Diego Padres honored the top high school baseball players of 2021 in the CIF San Diego Section at the Padres High School All-Star Night on June 24 at Petco Park.
The All-Star Game featured the CIF San Diego Section’s best high school players in an East-West format. Some of the top young talent in the country enjoyed this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to suit up and play in Petco Park.
The CIF San Diego Section office chose Dave Barrett (Oceanside High) to coach the West (home) squad and Rigo Ledezma (Santana High) to lead the East (visitors) squad.
