Autumn sunset at Del Mar
A day off for many San Diegans on Nov. 11, Veterans Day, brought visitors to enjoy a sunny interlude at the Del Mar shoreline. Beachcombers, surfers and swimmers took a few moments to view the bright sunset reflect off the waves in the late fall afternoon. A chill in the air began to settle as locals stepped onto their balconies and a few walked into the sand to witness the sun disappear over the horizon.
