RARE BLOOM
Visitors to the San Diego Botanic Garden viewed and photographed the rare corpse flower which was in bloom in late October. This flower only blooms every four or five years, and the fully opened bloom lasts for only 48 hours before it fades. The corpse flower plant is named after its foul-smelling scent.
