Poway OnStage December shows

Poway OnStage’s remaining shows in its 2021 season lineup feature “Dance to the Holidays!” with celebrity dance pros Anna Trebunskaya and Keo Motsepe from the ABC hit series “Dancing with the Stars,” together with finalists from such popular shows as “So You Think You Can Dance,” “American Idol,” “The Voice” and “America’s Got Talent” on Dec. 4.

December will also feature a performance by soon-to-be retiring British blues legend John Mayall, performing for the last time in Poway with blues rock guitarist Walter Trout on Dec. 11. Mayall recently announced his intent to retire from touring after fulfilling his current commitments, including his appearance in Poway.  

Often referred to as “The Godfather of British Blues,” John Mayall has an impressive musical career that spans more than 50 years. The English blues singer, pianist, harmonica player, guitarist, and songwriter founded the band John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers in the 1960s – a band whose members included many celebrated blues and blues rock guitarists, such as Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Taylor, Coco Montoya and Walter Trout.

Poway OnStage follows all State of California and County of San Diego requirements for COVID-19. Open Seating will be available for those who would like to socially distance themselves from other theater-goers.
